The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is an independent agency that regulates the interstate transmission of natural gas, oil and electricity. FERC also regulates natural gas projects and, as such, will be the federal agency responsible for authorizing this project. The docket number assigned to this project by FERC is CP07-457-000.
