Working Together in Our Communities

Iroquois takes membership in our communities to heart.  Participating in local events, assisting non-profit agencies, or encouraging employee involvement, are some of the many ways we try to make a positive impact.

Our Community Outreach Program plays an important role in directing support to local charitable and non-profit 501(c) 3 organizations. Requests  received for support of educational, cultural arts and civic programs which will improve the quality of life for community residents along the pipeline are reviewed monthly.

Funding decisions, which typically range from $50 to $250, focus on three general categories:

  • Education. Organizations and programs that provide educational opportunities to youth.
  • Culture and the Arts. Organizations and programs that enhance the quality of the arts in the community.
  • Civic and Community. Organizations and programs interested in the social development of local communities.

Funding for individuals, religious or political organizations, paid solicitors and courtesy program advertising will NOT be considered.

How to Apply for Funding
All requests must be made in writing and should include:

  • Description of the organization and its mission
  • Contact information (phone, email, website)
  • The project’s objectives and expected impact on the community
  • The contribution requested

Requests can take up to two months to review and process. Please submit your requests to:

The United Way
Live United is a familiar slogan at Iroquois as our employees have participated in the local Valley United Way’s charitable giving campaign almost since we began operations.  Iroquois’ week long employee campaign serves to raise awareness of the agencies supported by the United Way while having fun participating in the fundraising activities.  The results typically exceed expectations!  The 2016 campaign resulted in a combined employee pledge and corporate match contribution of just under $50,000. 

Corporate Volunteer Council
Iroquois employees also give of their time and talent as volunteers for the many projects taken on by the Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC), run by the Valley United Way's Volunteer Action Center.  Whether painting or cleaning during a Week of Caring project; helping to build a house of food to stock the local food pantries; or providing a coat, sneakers and outfits to a child as part of the Back-to School program; our employees find it rewarding to know they have helped someone in their time of need.
